christmas presents for my closest friends: candied nuts in jars with vintage hankerchiefs tied on.  i made a huge mess candying the nuts, but i love how they turned out- they look so adorable with the beautiful hankerchiefs!

emma's christmas present to me: making tie-dyed scarfs together.  inspiration courtesy lena corwin.  i absolutely LOVE my scarf and had so much fun tie-dyeing with em!

during education assistant training at the walters this month, we did a fun team activity using the reggio emilia approach.  these are pictures of the project that my team and i came up with in about an hour with the theme we decided on: food.

i made a new sketchbook and it snowed for the first time this winter.
