i love this antique baileys tin that misha brought home for me!  he found it at a random antique store he went to.  i like antique tins, and i looooooovvveee baileys, so it was a great find!  now i just have to figure out what i want to put in it... :)

my BEAUTIFUL valentine's day flowers from misha- he picked them out himself, and the color combination is amazing! also a picture of the molly dooker bottle he got us and the delicious swordfish and asparagus dinner he made us :) 

i made a pillow!  i am super proud of it, mainly because i figured out how to do it on my own, with help only from the sewing book misha got me for christmas.  i was at ikea and decided on a whim to buy a yard of this fabric i liked and make pillows.  as it turns out, the pillow inserts i got for our other couch pillows were the wrong size, which was perfect because i was immediately able to stuff the pillow case when i finished it.  now i just need to make the second one, and eventually i'll start printing my own designs on the pillows!

a few new pieces of work.  the bottom piece is still in progress.  

i finished sewing the pieces of my tree skirt together today- now all that's left is the batting and the borders.  also, another awesome birthday present from my mom: a new lands end down jacket!
